Clam Chowder ~ Who wants some?

I happened to fall upon this recipe... where? I have no idea. I forgot. Right? Anyway, I wanted to be able to pin it to my recipe board on Pinterest, and this was the easiest way I thought to accomplish that.

Ingredients:
Minced Clams ~ 13 oz.
Bacon ~ 3 slices
Potatoes ~ 2 1/2 cups, peeled and chopped
Corn ~ 1 can
Onion ~ 1 cup, chopped
Chicken Broth ~ 1 cup
Worcestershire sauce ~ 1 teaspoon
Thyme ~ 1/4 teaspoon
Pepper ~ 1/8 teaspoon
Milk ~ 2 cups
Half & Half (Or light cream) ~ 1 cup
Flour (all purpose) ~ 2 Tablespoons

Directions:
1. Drain canned clams, reserve juice and set aside.
2. In a large saucepan, cook bacon until crisp. Remove bacon and reserve 1 TBSP of the drippings in the pan. Blot bacon with a paper towel to remove the excess grease. Crumble. Set aside.
3. Stir the reserved clam juice, potatoes, onion, broth, Worcestershire sauce, thyme & pepper into the saucepan. Bring to a boil; reduce heat. Cover and simmer for 15 minutes or until the potatoes are tender.
4. Mash up the potatoes.
5. Stir together milk, half & half, and flour. Add to the potato mixture. Cook and stir until slightly thickened and bubbly.
6. Stir in clams and corn. Return to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 1 to 2 minutes or until heated through.
7. Sprinkle each serving with crumbled bacon.

Beware, you will have requests for seconds!
